In the 21st century, we face new challenges even in the midst of globalization, economic development, and advances in technology. For in the shadow of such growth and development, the Earth itself is being threatened by exploitation and abuse. The planet that sustains our lives is at risk, and along with it all of us…

It tells of the change in humanity desired by future generations and the new era of peace, a civilization of peace pursued by the Sunhak Peace Prize.
