Dr. Il Sik Hong, Sunhak Peace Prize Committee Chairman, gave the Welcome Address.

As the authoritative figure in Korean humanities, Chairman Hong has served as President of Korea University, and led the Sunhak Peace Prize Committee toward its first award ceremony.

The Inaugural Sunhak Peace Prize Ceremony was held on August 28, 2015 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Seoul, South Korea.
