The SUNHAK Peace Prize Committee announced that it will hold its official inauguration ceremony on August 11th, 11am at the 19th floor press conference room of the Korea Press Center in Seoul.
The SUNHAK Peace Prize Committee will annually select an individual or organization, dedicated to world peace and the well-being of humanity, and award them with ₩1 billion won ($1 million dollars USD) in prize money.
Dr. Il-Sik Hong former Chancellor of Korea University has been commissioned as Committee Chairman.
