The Sunhak Peace Prize, which pursues the creation of peace for the future generations of the global community, was established in order to heal the suffering and destruction that exist around the world, and build an all-encompassing, future-oriented vision of peace.

Emblem
The emblem for the Sunhak Peace Prize consists of the image of a person representing humanity, the image of a dove representing peace, the image of the globe representing global harmony, and the image of a hand representing humanity’s extensive yearning for a world filled with peace and happiness.  The sphere with twelve rays expanding outward symbolizes the sun, and it signifies humankind’s peace and harmony centering on true love
