A. Sunhak has been established by its founders Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon by combining the first characters in their names, which contains their ideology and vision for devoting their entire lives towards world peace. Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon have dedicated their works for world peace by centering on true families, through the vision 'One Family Under God'.
A. The Sunhak Peace Prize is different than the others for it has a foundation based on Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon's idea for peace. Their vision to pursue 'One Family Under God' is based on the ideology to transcend races, nations and religions. In other words, humankind should stand as a family centered on God, beyond conflicts and strifes from differences in racial, national, and religious origins. The Sunhak Peace Prize will be given to individuals or groups who can correspond with these ideas.
